An beautiful
stone villa, completely renovated, Villa La Loggia is
situated in the core of the Umbrian countryside near the town of Amelia,
between
Orvieto and Terni. The
property is conveniently close to Rome and Florence, and offers the possibility
of day trips to the lovely historic towns of Foligno, Spoleto, Orvieto,
Todi,
and many other small treasures.
The property is surrounded by a lush lawn where tall trees provide a shaded
area for relaxing al fresco dining. The house is positioned on two floors:
the ground level hosts a well-equipped, French Provençal-style blue
kitchen with counter-level fireplace and wood finishing, a dining room that
opens to the patio and garden, plus a guest room with ensuite bathroom, opening
to portico.
Upper floor hosts a study, a living room with a large, antique fireplace,
two bedrooms and one bathroom. A great attention to detail is evident: the
wooden floor, the leaded window panels decorated with art-deco glass and the
many paintings that decorate the rooms.
The house is well-kept, has plenty of outdoor space and enjoys a secluded
and private position. It is the ideal vacation for 2 couples with children
or for 1 couple with 2-3 children.
