Lovely guest house in Tuscany
Conveniently located in the heart of the Val di Chiana, at
the doorstep of the Val d’Orcia — and near the A1 motorway and
Perugia–Arezzo
state road — sits La Tabacchiera. It's an ideal base for daily excursions
to the wonderful cities of art nearby and, at the same time, is only
one hour away from Rome or Florence.
Once a tobacco curing barn, La Tabacchiera has been converted into a beautiful independent guest residence. The owners live in the main villa on the property, at 50 metres distance from the guest house.
La Tabacchiera has been smartly restored and comfortably furnished. It is surrounded by a well-kept garden shaded by olive trees and cypresses: a very pleasant setting for the swimming pool, shared by the two houses.
The surrounding area offers opportunities to discover this region's gastronomic delights, including the Chianina steaks and, of course, a bevy of fabulous Tuscan wines. A nine-hole golf course is nearby and horse riding facilities are also available.
