La Baia: Located a few kilometres beyond the centre of Sorrento,
La Baia offers uninterrupted
views of the Isle of Capri and the whole Bay of Naples. La Baia is part of
an exclusive enclave of private villas and apartments. Once a fishing
community,
the remnants of the small port of San Montano have been converted into a
semi-enclosed swimming area with a small sandy beach for exclusive use
of the community.
A private bathing establishment is within walking distance, with swimming
pool, tennis courts and bar/restaurant facilities.
Noted for its privacy and tranquillity, this tiny community can only be reached
by a private street descending off the coastal road that connects Sorrento
with Massalubrense. Immediately after turning onto the road, one is immediately
taken by the flowing bougainvillaeas and Mediterranean atmosphere.
The terrace is shaded all along by canvas canopies and is equipped with outdoor
table, chairs and sunbeds. From the entrance, a staircase leads to a vegetable
garden with paved area, shaded by fruit trees.
La Baia is a bright and airy apartment in the villa, blessed by sea breezes
and flooded with sunlight. Comfortably furnished, La Baia is ideal for those
who love the beach and sun, but who would also like to explore the magnificent
Sorrento Peninsula and Amalfi Coast.
