A delightful Lake Como villa
Only a short distance
from the village of Santa
Maria Rezzonico lies the villa of Il Castagno.
It stands at the foot of a hill covered with chestnuts woods, overlooking the
lake and the village.
The villa is surrounded by a small garden, bounded by a great chestnut tree
at the back and by a lawned area on the side. It’s equipped with barbecue
and outdoor furniture. Although there are several homes nearby, the villa is
really quite secluded.
The house is a two-floor, stone-built villa, and it faces south, enjoying
the sun from morning till sunset. It is bright and airy, and furnished in modern
and
rustic
fashion. From its elevated position, Il Castagno provides great views from
the large French doors on the ground floor and from the terrace in the bedroom.
The cottage is surrounded by a small garden, bounded by a great chestnut tree
at the back and by a lawned area on the side. It’s equipped with barbecue
and outdoor furniture.
Access to the house is secured by automatic gates; the area immediately outside
the living room is paved and shaded by a an olive tree and is the perfect for
al fresco eating.
This is the ideal accommodation for a couple on honeymoon or just for a simple
romantic vacation a deux off the beaten path.

road to
an automatic gate. Car is necessary.

Distances: 120 km to Milano • 41 km to Como • 6 km to Menaggio
